The pop-up menu to add a special state to a Pokemon used to require two taps to use it, and sometimes had a weird ghosting effect on the sprite of the Pokemon you were working with.
Thanks to two new developers who have started working on the Pokedex app, we now have a bug fix! Getting more brains working a problem is always a good thing.
